THE FOUNDATION
The first: that all life has an equal value, one that cannot be expressed in units of attention, production or consumption. That a person who disengages, who rests, who hides in the forest. That person still has worth. The system that makes them feel like they are worthless is a system that has no worth in itself.
The second: that what is real, true and shared matters more than what is owned or accumulated. The destruction of common spaces (physical, cultural, social and ecological) and their replacement by something digital or artificial in the service of control and ultimately profit is theft. That what has been taken will be returned.
The third: that the natural world is not a resource to be consumed and profited from. It has intrinsic value and the natural order is the most important life giver. Its worth is something immeasurable.
The fourth: that real human connection is not a commodity. It is not a luxury. It is everything. It has been transformed into weak imitation and through that process we have been transformed into products ourselves. We must reconnect.
